About the event
A primary focus of the meeting will be understanding how AFNA can best support its members during this transition and help guide the path forward. Discussion will center on the future of forensic nursing credentials, the progress being made toward maintaining professional standards, and the importance of staying informed as changes unfold. Ensuring clarity, advocacy, and continuity for forensic nurses throughout Arkansas remains a top priority for AFNA leadership.
To broaden the conversation and provide additional resources, AFNA plans to invite the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) to participate in an upcoming town hall. ENA’s involvement will allow members to gain insight into what the organization has to offer, including professional advocacy, educational opportunities, leadership development, networking, and potential support related to credentialing and professional growth. ENA’s experience and established role within nursing may provide valuable perspective during this time of change.
